I enjoy watercolor, colored pencil and pen and ink and sometimes a combination. Each of these media has it's own charm and distinct appeal.
Drawing is my forte and I enjoy taking a three dimensional view and making a two-dimensional painting, capturing value, color, texture and form. It's important that someone looking at a portrait or animal, smile at it or might even feel tempted to touch the painting or simply be touched by it. As with all artists my work has a certain style and impression that distinguishes it as mine.
Paintings and drawings are often done in series. I usually paint flowers and scenes in summer and fall. In the winter I enjoy still life, portraits or winter scenes. Often you can find me doing a special series of things that I have become interested in or just doing something that sparks my imagination. I am sure that there are hundreds of enchanting things out there yet to be painted or drawn...
Time and problems disappear when painting. My health has been a problem for a long time and my art work is so important to my very existence.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy my site.
